Ann L. Edmunds, MD, PharmD

Dr. Edmunds has been in private practice since completing her specialty training in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery. Dr. Edmunds was a member or chair of several committees at the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. She is currently active in educational programs through both primary care providers and patients. Dr. Edmunds has completed and continues to participate in clinical trials for development of new ENT products. Dr. Edmunds received her doctorate in pharmacy and her doctorate in medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. She completed her post-graduate residency training in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Melanie Dresden, APRN, FNP-BC

Melanie Dresden is a board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Simmons University in Boston, MA in 2017. Melanie joined Omaha ENT in 2020. She has extensive medical experience in the Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Family Practice as well as health and wellness education. She has a love for learning and education in emerging treatments in medicine that allows her to stay up to date with patient care. When Melanie is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 energetic children and dog.


 

Kristin M. Fernau, Au.D

Dr. Fernau came to audiology after a career change from radiology, where she spent 8 years with Children’s Urgent Care. Dr. Fernau then worked with Boys Town National Research Hospital in pediatric research for 3 years. She started working at Omaha Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic before graduating in 2017 from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Dr. Fernau enjoys the challenge of working with both the pediatric and adult populations. Outside of work, Dr. Fernau and her husband are very busy with their four children and 3 dogs.
